High-speed disperser is a kind of equipment commonly used in chemical industry, paint, coating, adhesive and other fields. Its main function is to disperse, mix and emulsify materials. Blade selection is an important factor in determining the performance of a high-speed disperser. When selecting blades, you need to consider the following aspects:

Blade shape and design:

Common blade shapes include flat blades, serrated blades and turbine blades. Flat blades are usually used for simple mixing; serrated blades are used for higher intensity dispersion operations; turbine blades can be used to enhance material flow.

Blade size:

The diameter and size of the blades should match the size of the container. Generally speaking, the diameter of the blades should be one-third to one-quarter the diameter of the container.

Blade material:

Common blade materials include stainless steel, carbon steel and plastic. When selecting materials, the chemical properties of the material and the operating environment need to be considered. Stainless steel is suitble for corrosion-resistant environments, carbon steel is suitable for high-intensity dispersion operations, and plastic is suitable for lightweight applications.

Rotating speed:

The blades of high-speed dispersers need to be able to withstand high rotational speeds. Different blade designs have different optimal rotational speed ranges, ensuring that the selected blades can meet the operating requirements of the equipment.

Operation purpose:

Choose blades based on the purpose of the operation. If the main purpose is dispersion, serrated blades are usually the best choice. If the main purpose is mixing or stirring, flat blades or turbine blades may be more suitable.

Material characteristics:

Consider the viscosity, density and other physical properties of the material. Highly viscous materials may require larger diameter blades for better dispersion.

Blade inclination angle:

The inclination angle of the blades affects the way the material flows. A smaller tilt angle is generally used for smoother mixing, while a larger tilt angle may provide stronger shearing and mixing effects.

Number of leaves:

Multiple blades may be installed on a high-speed disperser. The number of blades and the distance between them will affect the dispersing and mixing effects. Multiple blades may provide more uniform dispersion, but may also increase device complexity.

Dispersion disc thickness and stiffness:

The thickness and rigidity of the blade are critical to its stability and durability. Thicker blades are generally stronger and can withstand higher rotational speeds and greater shear forces.

Safety and Maintenance:

Blades should be designed with safety in mind, for example, ensuring there is no vibration or instability at high speeds. At the same time, the blades should be designed to facilitate maintenance and cleaning to ensure long-term use of the equipment.

Device compatibility:

Make sure the selected blades are compatible with the model and specification of the high-speed disperser. This includes the blade shaft hole size, installation method, etc.

Temperature and pressure requirements:

Certain operations may need to be performed at high temperatures or pressures, so the materials and design of the blades need to be able to withstand these conditions.

Cost and efficiency:

Consider the balance between cost and efficiency of the blade. High-performance blades may be more expensive, but may provide better dispersion and reduce operating time.

Industry standards and regulations:

Different industries may have specific standards and regulatory requirements for equipment and blades. Make sure to choose blades that meet industry standards.

Based on the above factors, the appropriate blades are selected according to the specific application and operating needs to ensure the best performance and efficiency of the high-speed disperser. If you need more help or specific product suggestions, please contanct prettech.
