What Is a Fixed Tube Sheet Heat Exchanger?

A fixed tube sheet heat exchanger is a shell and tube heat exchanger in which both tube sheets are permanently attached to the shell.

The tube bundle is fixed in position and cannot be removed without dismantling the entire exchanger.
